That’s a very fast wrap of summer! My girls have already checked Day 1 Of 5th and 7th grade off.
I was pretty blue yesterday- not sure why exactly that this year caused more of a reaction. Maybe I’m the same every year?
The good news is I got great reports - and it feels like the year will be a success.
My girls are big now - and time won’t stop. So I’m going to put on my Pom poms and cheer the heck out of their lives! So far, they are doing awesome!
Just home from our summer trip to Illinois. We did a lot of our regular, fun activities- gondolas, shopping, golf, yard time, lots of family visits. It was amazingly cool and perfect weather - a great break for us Texans.
The girls and I drove home on our own this year. We stopped first at Silver Dollar Coty in Branson for lots of roller coaster rides. Then we visited Waco for the Magnolia places and also to the Mammoth museum - very cool.
One more week to savor late nights, sleeping in and making some fun! Sigh. It’s been a slower paced but as always fast summer.
