We had sleepovers and birthday parties this weekend and movies to see. Sydney and I had our own date night on Friday. And there was ballet practice and trips to the gym. Our weekends of activities and social events roll together, and go by so quickly, that I just forget to capture it all like I used to.
But in a moment this morning, I captured what I'm so grateful to witness all the time - these two girls, the best of friends. They have been playing with Legos and their imagination for almost four hours now while I've been in the kitchen working on a huge cookie order. I love them as my background noise...singing, creating dialogue, negotiating, planning and simply playing. What a beautiful day!
