Just thought I'd pop by to say there is absolutely nothing out of the norm going on here - I just haven't been able to do any writing this week. I'm coming off of one birthday celebration (Hubby) and heading into another birthday celebration (Cheekers). I had my Vanna the van in the shop for four days this week. So that is always a change of pace sharing vehicles in the family. We've had the typical school/dance/swimming activities this week.I hosted a book club party last night with a fantastic group of moms. And we have two birthday parties this weekend that I have to go buy presents for. Like I said, it's nothing major -just stuff.
My girls have been trying to catch up on sleep this week, but it's not happening. Tonight - bed - 7 o'clock! It has to be. Every morning this week has been some kind of attitude or melt down. It's battle of the opinions lately. I want this or I don't want that. I always love these teenager previews. Cheekers has been particularly a hand-full this week. And her main issue - is fastion, fashion, fashion. She keeps trying to change her clothes or doesn't like "anything" she has. And she's desperate to wear my high heels. I have a feeling I'm going to lose a lot of shoes out of my closet later in life. Take a look at her ensemble below.
So, really, I hate to be brief - but that's about it here. The weather is fantastic though. It is 80 degrees here right now. Not sure that's a good sign to have it be 80 in January - when it's 108 in the summer...but feels good anywho.
