This weekend has been off the charts activity. Friday night we had dinner at some friends' house. Then we went to our first Texas high school football game. It was a great, cool evening - totally football weather.
Saturday started early with a tea party birthday party for Sydney. Then we went to our gym for their Halloween party Spooktacular. It was actually really nice. They had a ton of activities, booths, food, haunted house, etc... But the main event was when Mommy performed the Thriller dance. Yeah, you read that right. At a class I took last week, one of my teachers said, "does anyone want to learn the Thriller dance?" My hand flew high in the air. And last week, thanks to You Tube and one practice dance with a group, I learned the dance. At the event yesterday, I wore zombie paint on my face, shredded this old flowery green Goodwill dress, put "blood" on my legs and arms and in front of a rather large crowd in the middle of a gymnasium I released my inner-Michael Jackson. I am so bad! :) I'm even brave enough to share the link with you.... Follow here to see the recording.....if you dare.....http://youtu.be/WhWA9WGglKY
Then last night, the fun did not stop, we went to the horse ranch for a charity auction event. All is happy when we visit the ranch - horses, feeding them carrots, soaking in some country air, eating good food, drinking good drinks - good times.
And today, Sunday, a little bit of catch up before our evening - another Halloween party. Pictures will follow tomorrow later. Cheekers and I did take a nice afternoon break today to go see Puss in Boots - so funny! She has been laughing at those commercials for months. So today, I took my funny girl to the movies. She loved it. I loved it. It was the cat's meow.
So Happy Halloween Eve.... More frighening pictures tomorrow.
But first....a picture of our tea party girl and the hat she made - followed by our photo booth shot from the Spooktacular and lastly the ranch pictures from last night.....

Thriller!? You are my Halloween hero! I'm totally impressed.
PS: In that last pic of the girls, Sydney is totally her mother's daughter! Love it!
