What can I say - we are counting down the days in our house until the big Christmas day. Until then we've just been jolly and trying to have spirit - though today it was 80 degrees. I like it - but that's no weather for Christmas.
The girls and I saw Tangled over the weekend. It was such a cute movie. Sydney, however, was the only one that cried in the theater during the movie....and the scene - when man cut Rapunzel's beautiful long blond hair! So I bet you couldn't guess that we've been singing the songs from Tangled and reenacting the movie every day since.
Last night Daddio and I got a nice date night out. Sadly we didn't really plan anything and found it odd that we were unsure how to spend our time out. We pretty quickly came up with a plan - but there's something to say about our free time - and lack of it.
Today the girls and I joined some friends at a playground and for lunch. It was, as I said, a gorgeous weather day - hot actually. I know, no northerner wants to hear me right now!
Tomorrow we're having lunch with Daddio. And later this week, the food creations begin - Christmas cookies!! The girls are also very excited to get an extra special Christmas treat this year - a visit from Grammy and Papa. They will arrive on Saturday. So that also means we have to bust it around here to clean ;) and wrap up some house projects. ;)
